A spokeswoman for Peugeot 207 Citroen in the UK said last week that it costs in the region of £350 more per unit to build a car of the 206’s size here than it does in mainland Europe as most of the parts are imported, assembled and then re-exported as a whole car.

Inside the Peugeot 207 is light and feels airy, in part due to the high reaching windscreen. The front seats are firm but comfortable, although the Peugeot 207offset peddles remain too small and in the wrong place. This means that ultimate comfort is never fully achieved. The back seats are adequate but the legroom is not really enough for adults, but being a super mini who would expect more.

Peugeot 207
Peugeot 207 has a reputation for producing aspirational ‘hot-hatches’. The Peugeot 207was almost every ‘boy racer’s’ dream in the eighties and now that those lads have grown up (at least on the outside), they can relive their youth through the latest Peugeot 207, and, no doubt a new generation of driver’s will get the bug, too.
Peugeot 207
Peugeot 207 The reality is the UK is an expensive country to manufacture cars in as production workers salaries are higher than emerging Eastern European countries which are new areas being exploited by car makers setting up new manufacturing facilities. In the UK new car sales are falling, prices are lower and customers demand more specification making cars very price sensitive.
