Auto Expo 2014 is very good place to present any new model of car. The Lodgy is a Dacia MPV based on the Duster platform. However, in India the MPV will come with a Renault badge. It will take on the likes of Maruti’s Ertiga and Nissan’s Evalia, which is also slated for a facelift.
It would be safe to say that the Renault Lodgy Dacia looks better than the Evalia, which needs a serious design revamp. A face-lift may be an improvement, but the Evalia needs a lot more to appeal to private buyers.
