Mazda 3

Mazda 3
The Mazda 3's four-wheel disc brakes are feelsome, fearsome binders; with optional ABS, I might not have needed a rental car in the first place. Road ruts don’t rock, though rough surfaces generate plenty of noise. Of course, I’d expect a deeper sense of happiness riding on the optional 17” wheels, instead of the stuck-pig-when-pushed 15” all season shoes Of these the Mazda 3 is the best handling and powerful, but its not a hands down winner. No doubt the Mazda 3 is a frisky companion, but one that has some needs for improvement.
Mazda 3
That is a lot of negatives, but Mazda 3 is gambling that the cute styling well draw attention from the more sedate offerings and to make sure they are offering it as a sedan and hatchback. We tested the latter and it is the best Mazda 3 handling of this breed currently available at this price. They have also added superior brakes, and a tight chassis to the mix making it your only real choice if you like to drive hard, but not particularly fast.
Mazda 3
I usually have a problem with compact cars due to their lack of interior space, but the Mazda 3 had plenty. However,Mazda 3 the rear seat legroom was tight. In addition, I found the chassis excellent, solid and communicative, and eager to please According to InfoMotori, this is a concept their designer has put together based on rumours, likely platform, and the lines of the new models and the various Mazda 3concepts we've been seeing over the past year or so.
Mazda 3
Mazda 3claims the 3’s interior is ‘sporty yet highly refined’. So that means a sweeping dash, a large instrument cluster and key controls placed at the same level as the steering wheel and gear stick. It’s part of a design apparently based on Mazda 3’s Human Machine Interface concept. It has an anemic air conditioning system as well as an interior dash lighting that is difficult to read and too clever for its importance.

New tech for the Mazda 3 includes an Adaptive Front Lighting System with self-levelling bi-xenon headlamps and three-position electric memory seats. These seats automatically move into place depending on which key opens the Mazda 3 car WE ARE getting ever closer to “international cars”. For example, last month’s test car, the Volvo S40, is built on the same platform as the Mazda 3.
Mazda 3
The Aussie-made fleet favourite has found itself locked in a life or death battle for most of this year with the darling of private-buyers, the Mazda 3.Regular readers of this column will have noted my high praise for the Mazda 3 and a number of enthusiastic owners emailed me following my road test. Mazda 3is in the same league. Mazda 3 public relations manager Steve Maciver wouldn't elaborate on specific sales figures ahead of the official release but said the company was happy with its supply from Japan and its rate of sales.
Mazda 3
The Mazda 3's 60/40 folding rear seat gives the car terrific cargo access and capacity. With the rears in place and passengers in situ, the rear seating section won’t trigger an Amnesty International investigation– provided you’re not schlepping two six-footers on a long drive or three passengers of any age, sex or national affiliation (but especially well-fed teenage Japanese sumo wrestlers). Mazda 3 To say the four-door’s rear compartment is somewhat cloistered would be like saying Benedictine monks are a bit on the shy side.
Mazda 3
The Mazda 3's [cloth] driver’s seat is like your best friend after your dog dies: it gives you a nice, firm hug and then provides lots of short and long-term support. Once embraced, you’re free to rest your left elbow on the same plastic toymakers use to construct products able to withstand untamed toddlers’ force-ten tantrums. Mazda 3 The only compliant horizontal surfaces (seats excluded): the uppermost center console and the door handle.
Mazda 3
At speed, the Mazda 3 feels a bit like an MX-5 with a booster seat. The platform’s fully independent chassis and electro-hydraulic helm don’t deliver all the delicious feedback of Mazda 3’s legendary Lotus Elan-a-like, but there’s enough precision in the system to inspire genuine confidence. And that’s all the reason a sporting driver really needs to drive the Mazda 3, um, sportingly.
Mazda 3
Unless you’re a die hard  Mazda 3 fan, you probably don’t realize how many different 2012 Mazda 3 compact car variants are offered by your local Mazda 3dealer. For the coming year, there are 11 possible combinations of trim and body style, aimed at both fuel conscious and performance-oriented buyers.
Mazda 3
Mazda 3 announced earlier this year that the 2012 3 would have stylistic updates and a significant addition to the engine lineup: the 155-hp, 2.0-liter Skyactiv direct-injection four-cylinder. As the photos here show, the aesthetic changes are minor, but the new engine is big news in terms of fuel efficiency.

Mazda 3
A four-door Mazda 3 i with the Skyactiv 2.0-liter—it’s available in the i Touring and i Grand Touring models—will deliver an EPA-certified 40 mpg on the highway, while a five-door i with the same engine just misses that mark at 39 mpg.
Mazda 3
The Corolla is expected to take the number one spot ahead of the Commodore with the new look Mazda 3 relegated to third spot after having claimed victory in January, June and August.Mazda 3 The rest of the interior is about as haptically happening as an electric fence Both are very good cars. One is designed by the cool Swedes and the other by the innovative Japanese engineers.
